Russell Family Vineyards

Founded in 1981 in Paso Robles, Russell Family Vineyards is now transitioning to the second generation of the Russell family. They farm two vineyards on the west side of Highway 101. This inhospitable area with its limited rainfall, shallow, rocky, calcareous soils, and sunlight are perfect for growing high-quality grapes. The Russells are farming two vineyards: Texas Road Vineyard and Live Oak Vineyard. The Russells specialize in making tiny bottlings of Bordeaux and Rhone varietals. Their wines are the perfect mix of power, fruit, and finesse- not easy to do.
