Chateau Moulinat (Bordeaux)

Chateau Moulinat is a 25 acre vineyard and Chateau located in the Entre Deux Mers region of France. The estate is currently run by the 5^th generation of the Sage family who have owned the property since the early 1800s. We import only one wine from Ch. Moulinat. The vineyard for this wine is comprised of calcareous and limestone soils with gravel and sand close to the surface and the family farms sustainably. The vineyard sits at an elevation of 300-350’. Most of the vines are 25 years old though there are several blocks with vines 45+ years old. This is more than just a value-priced wine. This is a great little Bordeaux from a great vintage and a family fully committed to their land. It comes in labeled wooden crates.
