Venica & Venica

Founded in 1930, Venica & Venica have just celebrated their 90th year and are regarded as one of the top producers of white wines in Italy. The estate currently farms 40ha of vines on the typical Ponca solis of Friuli (marl and sandstone). The 40ha is spread over several hills and is comprised of many varied micro-climates. Venica & Venica wines embody all of the best qualities of Friuli and Collio. The wines are all richly textured with ripe, beautiful fruit and they are supremely balanced. The combination of the texture, depth, fruit, freshness, and overall balance is stunning and very difficult to find. Venica is one of the rare wineries that has it all: history, old vines, varied sites, connection to the past, an understanding of the need for advancing sustainability and understanding their area and their place in the world, and, above all, delicious wines. This is one of our favorite wineries in the world!
